General Questions
What is Jookster? Jookster is social search engine that
allows you to discover cool user generated content. We collect
photos, videos and bookmarks from sites like YouTube, Flickr
and del.icio.us. Jookster then puts it all in one place for
you to search, save and share with your friends.
What does it mean
to "jook"? To jook a site
is to save it to your profile section so you view it, search
it and share it with friends.
What browsers and
operating systems does Jookster support? Jookster has been tested to support
Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer 5.0 or greater browsers.
Jookster supports Windows, Macintosh, Linux and Unix operating
systems.
Functionality Questions
How do I "jook" content? There are two ways to jook content. First
way is to click the "Jook This" button next to any search
result or view jook page on Jookster. You can also jook pages
outside of jookster when web surfing with our "Jook This"
links button. Get

How do I know that my content has been
jooked? The content has
been jooked when the “Jook This” button is greyed out after
you click it. If you are using the links button, you will
briefly get redirected to a page that notifies you your site
has been jooked.
How do I invite
someone to my Jookster network? There are a couple ways for someone
to join your Jookster network.
- If that person is a Jookster, you
can click the "Add to Friends" link on their Jookster
profile page.
- If that person is not yet a
Jookster, you can invite them to join you using our invite page.
Privacy Questions
Does Jookster use adware or spyware?
Jookster is 100% adware and spyware free.
Can anyone besides me see what sites I have jooked?
Only if you choose to. By default your profile is public
to others but if you choose to only show your profile to people
in your Jookster network, click "edit profile" on your profile page
and change your settings to private.
